By Chris Gill in Feature

KARRINGTON’S Café and Wine Bar, formerly Hewitt’s Bar, is located at 33 Molesworth Street in the heart of Wadebridge.

New owners Sarah and Keith Karrington acquired the premises in April and, after rebranding and renovating, they have created something very special.

The café is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4pm serving locally sourced home made food which includes a daily specials board. Mouth-watering dishes such as homemade sausage roll with piccalilli, carrot and coriander soup, garlic mushroom and brie ciabatta and freshly made pizzas are just a few examples of what is prepared in the kitchen each day.

There is also a wide variety of cakes which are all home made in house, a superb accompaniment with the freshly ground coffee and Cornish tea that is on offer.

On Fridays and Saturdays the bar really comes to life, open till late both on Fridays and Saturdays and with an extended food menu, Karringtons Bar regularly hosts live music and even has a happy hour between 6pm and 8pm on a Saturday. Follow Karrington’s on Facebook to keep up to date with the latest news on live music and events.

During Happy hour, you can enjoy ales and ciders including Coors Light, Appleshed Cider, Goose Island Ale and Wolf Rock Ale for just £3 per pint.

Whether you prefer bubbly, wine or maybe a cheeky gin and tonic, Karrington’s Bar has it all with a very comprehensive range of wines and drinks to suit every taste.

Why not come along and see what all the fuss is about?
