BODMIN Nursery’s monthly Farmers’ Market has just celebrated five years of trading. The market is just food and regularly hosts between 15 and 20 local growers and traders. There is a wide variety of foods on offer, from Mevagissey fresh fish, preserves made on Bodmin Moor, honey from Bodmin bees, apple juice from the Tamar Valley, speciality gluten-free and traditional cakes from Lanivet, plus pork products from pigs reared at Grampound Road…. to name but a few!
The market is held under cover at the front of the Nursery, with ample, easy and free parking for all and, of course, entry to the market is free. Right beside the market is The Mill Café, which is open for coffees and light lunches, plus a popular Market Day Special of award-winning Cornish Pork Pantry bacon and sausage butties!
Customers can then enjoy a walk around the 5 acre nursery where there is always something different to catch the eye!
The market is held on the third Saturday of each month, with the next market being on Saturday 15 July, from 10am to 2pm. We look forward to welcoming you then!
