ON Sunday 30 July, volunteers and fundraising groups from all over Cornwall will be holding a fundraising day at Trewithen Gardens, thanks to the support of Mr Sam Galsworthy and family.
There will be a display of over 100 classic vehicles and also a range of new luxury cars from local dealerships.
Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the beautiful gardens and enjoy browsing stalls including delicious refreshments, crafts, produce and antiques. The local police dog handler will be giving a demonstration which will be followed by a Fun Dog Show at 12 noon.
Members from Rebellion Archers will give demonstrations and taster sessions of field archery.
Philip Buddell, local auctioneer, will be holding a ‘What’s It Worth’ session enabling visitors to have their antiques and collectables valued for a small donation.
Local choirs and bands will be providing music throughout the day. The day will close at 4pm with The Bishop of St Germans giving a short address in front of the house on the circular lawn.
All funds raised will support the local Marie Curie Nursing Service which relies heavily on voluntary donations to fund its services.
